Day 01 : CALCUTTA/KOLKATA
Arrive Calcutta./Kolkata. Meeting and transfer to the hotel (Check-in time 12 noon). Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02 : CALCUTTA/KOLKATA
Morning city tour visiting the Jain Temple, Zoological gardens, Victoria Memorial, Drive past Howrah Bridge, Dalhousie Square, Fort William, Secretariat Building and Old Court House Street. Evening sunset cruise on River Hooghly followed by dinner at the Floating Restaurant.
Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 03 : CALCUTTA/BAGDOGRA/GANGTOK
In time transfer to the airport to board flight for Bagdogra. Arrive and transfer by car to Gangtok. Arrive and check-in at hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting the Enchey Monastery, The Residency for an excellent view of the mountains, the White Memorial Hall, Tibetlogy Institute and Deer Park. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 04 : GANGTOK
Morning visit Rumtek Monastery. The original Rumtek monastery built by the 4th Chogyal was damaged in a earthquake and was rebuilt. The 16th Gyalwal H.H Karmapa, after he escaped from Tibet, settled and lived in this monastery till completion of the Dharma Chakra centre nearby. Lunch at Martam Village Resort. Return to Gangtok. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 05 : GANGTOK/KALIMPONG/DARJEELING
Morning depart by car for Darjeeling. Enroute visit Kalimpong, famous for its arts & crafts. Visit
the monastery and after lunch, proceed for Darjeeling. Arrive and check in at hotel.
DAY 06 : DARJEELING
Morning city tour visiting the most beautiful Hill Station in Eastern India, which has the highest Race Course in the World, the Lablong village, the Mountaineering Institute and House of Tenzing Norgay, the first Everest Hero. Later in the afternoon take a short toy train ride upto Ghoom and visit the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest in the area thatenshrines an enormous gilded statue of maitery Buddha. The monastery belongs to the yellow sect and has several valuable Tibetian manuscripts. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 07 : DARJEELING/BAGDOGRA/CALCUTTA
In time transfer to Bagdogra airport (98 Kms) to board flight for Calcutta. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 08 : CALCUTTA/BHUBNESHWAR
In time transfer to the airport to board flight for Bhubaneshwar. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Lingraj Temple, Rajrani Temple, Mukteshwar Temple, Parsurameshwar and Brahmeshwar Temple. These temples are some of the best specimens of the Orissa temple architecture. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 09 : BHUBNESHWAR/KONARK/PURI
Morning depart by car for Konark. Enroute visit Artisan village at Pipli. Visit Sun Temple in Konark. Thereafter, proceed for Puri. Rest of the day free. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10 : PURI
Morning city tour visiting one of the great pilgrimage centres of India. Visit the palaces of pilgrimage for the Hindus. The renowned jagannath Temple built in the 15th century A.D. and crowned with Vishnu's wheel and flag dominates the landscape of Puri. The temple with its elaborate carvings and mouldings is a very fine example of Orissa architecture. Spend the day relaxing on the Balighai Beach. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 11 : PURI/BHUBNESHWAR/CALCUTTA
Afternoon transfer to Bhubneshwar airport to board flight for Calcutta. Enroute visit Artisan village at Raghurajpur. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 12 : DEPART CALCUTTA/KOLKATA
Depart by coach for Bhuj. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit the local market to see tie and dye and silk fabrics. Overnight at hotel.
